The Incline pushup is a step up from regular pushups. If you are looking to ‘step it up’ for a deeper chest burn, incline pushups are the way to go. Much like it’s ‘cousin’, incline pushups tone your back, shoulders, and triceps.
Here is how to do this killer chest exercise:
First find an elevated surface, prefferably something about knee height to place your feet on. Get into a regular pushup position and place both your feet on the elevated surface, like a table or chair. Your arm position will be slightly wider than a normal ‘pushup’ position for better support. Push!
Note: Avoid arching, maintain a straight back and keep your chest from touching the floor.
